    • Usernames and passwords are sent by email to all approved members.

    • Update your member profile with a business description, company logo, keywords, hours of operation, as well as links to your company website and social media venues.

    • Add contact information for other members of your company to receive upates.

    • Register online for events.

  2. Put a supply of business cards in the Chamber office vestibule.

    • Seated at the 'new member table' near the front, where you can meet & mingle with fellow 'Chamber Newbies & Explorers.'

    • Introduced as a new member.

    • Presented your membership plaque and window decal.

    • Photographed with new members for "Chamber Latte - Your Monday Morning eNews."

    • Provided a 30-second opportunity to speak about your business.

  8. Consider applying for Regional Advantage - The Leadership Program of the Metroport Chamber. A unique leadership program, Regional Advantage is for aspiring leaders who want to learn leadership skills and develop key contacts with business and community leaders. Applications are accepted from April 1 to June 30 each year.

  9. Continue to attend events, develop relationships, and contribute your goodwill. Introduce yourself to "Newbies" and show them the ropes. Make connections and referrals for others. The more you share your goodwill, the more you will get in return.
