The Metroport Chamber’s goal is to help you develop those relationships so you aren’t walking into a room full of strangers, but a room full of friends. Your tribe. And we’ll show you how it can be painless to do.

Here’s a quick tip: Start small.
Our Business Builder Networking Coffees are a great place to start. The crowd is big enough to meet people and small enough to be comfortable. Held in a different community each month—you’re sure to find one nearby. Join us for a cup of coffee and start making connections.

Quick tip number two: Don’t sell. 
Instead, build relationships. Help others with their needs. Facilitate connections for others. Become a valued resource.

Networking requires the long game. It’s not about making the sale today, but rather, having the relationship already developed for when a need arises. By then, they know you. They trust you. They want to buy from you. You’re laying the groundwork for future business.

Also remember: 
With networking, you’re not necessarily finding customers – rather you’re creating a huge referral network! People also refer those they know, like and trust. Friends refer friends.
