Only 16 miles north of Downtown Fort Worth, Haslet’s city limits are adjacent to Alliance Airport as well as IH-35W, a high growth area that provides excellent connectivity to the Metroplex as well as the world. Haslet offers a large daytime population and proximity to many regional fast-growing residential developments to support restaurants and retail. With a property tax rate under 25 cents per $100 and a build-out of only 45% of available sites, Haslet is aggressively pursuing investment partners for corporate, business and retail opportunities.

In addition to being strategically located and near facilities for all types of intermodal transport, Haslet offers many attractive incentives including but not limited to tax abatement, foreign-trade zone, reinvestment zone and Freeport exemption. Amazon operates a 1.1 million square-foot regional Fulfillment Center in Haslet that created 3,500 jobs for the area. Additionally, in 2020 Haslet welcomed ATAC (Airborne Tactival Advantage Co.) and our first hotel, WoodSpring Suites.

2019 Amazon constructed and opened the new Regional Air Hub for its Prime Air operations at Alliance Airport. Alliance Airport is also home to corporations such as JCPenney, Grainger Industrial Supply, Bridgestone and BEHR Products. Haslet’s industrial complex at Alliance Airport includes companies such as Coca Cola, SC Johnson, SAIA Freight, Kraft, Michaels Stores, Volkswagen and Williamson-Dickie.

Le Tara Village, which is just minutes from Alliance Airport Business Park, is a fast-developing retail area that includes medical and dental offices, with construction underway for 504 residential home lots. This year the Le Tara development welcomed Haslet Elementary, a brand-new campus featuring an open concept library, collaborative learning spaces, and room for 850 students. Previously, Haslet Elementary was housed in a building only 3 miles away, designed for 450 students near the site of the original 1879 schoolhouse. The new building was funded by Northwest ISD, which has also purchased land in Le Tara Village for a future high school and middle school to serve the area’s growing student population.

And construction continues as four additional subdivision are currently under development, Haslet is poised for continued substantial grown for the next several years.
