Only 16 miles north of Downtown Fort Worth, Haslet’s city limits are adjacent to Alliance Airport as well as IH-35W, a high growth area that provides excellent connectivity to the Metroplex as well as the world. Haslet offers a large daytime population and proximity to many regional fast-growing residential developments to support restaurants and retail. With a property tax rate under 30 cents per $100 and a build-out of only 45%  of available sites, Haslet is aggressively pursuing investment partners for corporate, business and retail opportunities.

In addition to being strategically located and near facilities for all types of intermodal transport, Haslet offers many attractive incentives including but not limited to tax abatement, foreign-trade zone, reinvestment zone and Freeport exemption. Amazon operates a 1.1 million square-foot regional Fulfillment Center in Haslet that created 3,500 jobs for the area. Additionally, in 2019 Amazon constructed and opened the new Regional Air Hub for its Prime Air operations at Alliance Airport. Alliance Airport is also home to corporations such as JCPenney, Grainger Industrial Supply, Bridgestone and BEHR Products. Haslet’s industrial complex at Alliance Airport includes companies such as Coca Cola, SC Johnson, SAIA Freight, Kraft, Michaels Stores, Volkswagen and Williamson-Dickie.  

Two subdivisions began home construction in 2018 and houses are selling at a rapid pace. One additional subdivision is putting infrastructure with an expected first home sale in 2Q 2019.  Two  additional subdivisions are planned to begin soon. With almost 1,400 new lots platted, Haslet is on the verge of substantial growth over the next five years. 

Le Tara Village, which is just minutes from Alliance Airport and the Alliance Business Park, is a fast-developing retail area that includes medical and dental offices. As part of the overall Le Tara development, NISD has purchased land for a future high school and middle school to serve the area’s growing student population.
