The Metroport Chamber is proud to recognize Lora Hutchings as our June Ambassador of the Month.
Lora is the Economic Development Coordinator for the Town of Northlake, which means she spends her days helping businesses grow, projects move forward and translating zoning and permitting into something resembling normal conversation. If it involves development, deadlines, or a well-organized spreadsheet, she’s probably already on it.
She lives in Flower Mound, Texas, where she’s outnumbered—but not outmatched—by her two kids, Morgan (17) and Parker (20).
Lora is known for bringing energy, humor, and a very real, no-nonsense approach to everything she does. She loves connecting people, supporting local businesses, and making networking feel a little less like “networking” and a lot more like real conversation. As a Metroport Chamber Ambassador, she’s here to welcome you, hype you up, and probably convince you to show up to one more event than you planned—because she’ll be there too.
When she’s not working or ambassador-ing, you can find her enjoying community events, getting creative, or wondering why her to-do list keeps multiplying overnight.
