Ambassador of the Month -- May

The Metroport Chamber is proud to recognize John and Irene Dancer as our May Ambassadors of the Month.

John and Irene Dancer have been together for 27 plus years married for 24. Both have worked since the age of 10 and 12 years old respectively both in a myriad of jobs but landed with good careers and the passion for serving others. John has been in real estate for 45 plus years licensed at the age of 18 handled every aspect of brokerage and sales and building and development. Irene has been in the hospitality industry most of her life which led into a career in customer service in the copy, print, fax, industry. The final properties they own in Roanoke at The 206 landed them in the brewery industry and they are still promoting the food hall at The 206. With new management in place from Cowtown Brewery and CBC tap room They hope to have more time to travel and they're doing their best to make that a reality. When in town you can count on them to be at chamber events, volunteering with Champions Rotary, Meals on Wheels and at The 206 Brewery, CBC Taproom and food Hall. You can also find John at Jay Merrill cigar lounge in The 206, and both will be spending time at Ladera Living Timberbrook in their new 55 and over community.
