We are proud to spotlight our Ambassador of the 2nd and 3rd Quarter, Kim Chambless.

Kim Chambless’ story began in Tyler, Texas, where she met her husband while they were both working at a local grocery store. The two eventually moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area to build a life together and married in 1999. Soon after, they welcomed their two daughters, Morgan in 2000 and Abigail in 2004. Today, family remains at the heart of Kim’s life and is one of the many things that motivates her personally and professionally.

Kim began her professional career in 1999 with Neighborhood Credit Union as a title clerk in the Indirect Program. Over the years, she continued to grow within the organization, advancing to Underwriter and eventually Assistant Branch Manager. After the birth of her second daughter in 2004, Kim made the decision to step away from her career to focus on raising her girls.

During that chapter of her life, Kim discovered a passion for fitness. She became a certified Group Exercise (GX) Instructor and spent more than a decade teaching fitness classes. In 2017, she continued pursuing that passion by becoming a certified personal trainer.

In 2021, Kim and her family moved to Northlake, Texas, where they quickly made the community their home. She soon returned to the financial industry, joining Lamar Bank in new accounts before transitioning into the lending department. In July 2022, she joined Texas Regional Bank, where she progressed from Lending Assistant/Portfolio Manager to Business Development Officer, building strong relationships throughout the DFW business community.

In 2026, Kim began the next chapter of her career, joining McKnight Title as a Commercial Business Development professional. In her new role, she focuses on building relationships with commercial lenders, real estate professionals, developers, and other business leaders throughout the DFW area. Her background in banking, lending, and relationship management gives her a unique perspective and allows her to connect people and businesses while helping them navigate the commercial real estate process.

Kim is also passionate about serving her community and believes strongly in the power of relationships. Her involvement with the Metroport Chamber has provided her with the opportunity to connect with local business leaders, support fellow members, and contribute to the continued growth of the business community.

Outside of work and community involvement, Kim enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and sharing their love of hockey. One of their favorite traditions is traveling to watch the Dallas Stars play on the road. Recent hockey trips have taken the family to Boston, Vancouver, and Toronto, creating some incredible memories along the way. They are always looking forward to the next adventure and another opportunity to combine their love of travel and hockey.

Congratulations Kim!
