Congratulations to Rebekah Foster, the Chamber's Ambassador of the Month for March
2024!
Originally from a small farm town about 3 ½ hours north of New York City, Rebekah has spent a majority of her career in the hospitality industry. Unknowingly, she stumbled into the profession when she took a hostess job at a family-run restaurant while trying to figure out what she wanted to be when she grew up. Over 15 years later, after learning so much from an amazing team of leaders, her love for the industry helped her grow into the role of Director of Sales & Marketing at the Embassy Suites Saratoga Springs.
When Covid hit, causing chaos everywhere, Rebekah’s boyfriend's job offered to move them to Texas, and they figured, "Why not!?!" It would be a big change, but they looked at it like an adventure. Soon after getting settled in the big city of Fort Worth, Rebekah took a position at a small, family-owned, online fabric store, managing their Customer Service department. But after only a couple of years, she knew it was time to get back into the Hotel & Events industry and is super proud to have joined the Marriott Champions Circle’s Sales Team in September of 2023.
Rebekah is a vegan and is very eco-conscious. She is inquisitive and Googles everything. She enjoys sewing & crafting and loves to be outside, either going for a hike with Brenan, her boyfriend of 22 years, and their pup, Dixie, or just sitting outside in the morning enjoying a cup of coffee. They have an old RV and try to take it out as often as possible. Her favorite spot so far has been The White Sands National Park in New Mexico.
Most of all, Rebekah loves being able to see new things, go to new places, and meet new people. Recently joining the Ambassador Committee, she is excited to see more of the communities that the Metroport Chamber represents and meet the great people that live and work here!
